Amazing session on the perch mate 👌🏽 congrats on the PB, I'd hate to be a Prawn in that system haha. Are the Daiwa prawns now your favourite prawn style plastic?

@@johnathonLawrence Thanks mate. I still love a clone prawn but the durability of them annoys me. The Daiwa last and catch fish but I will have to test them side by side I think

@fishonbaby I will have to try the daiwa prawns as well... have you tested in clear water how they fall through the water? I would be very interested if they stayed upright and drifted down naturally as sometime the Clone Prawns tend to roll

@@johnathonLawrence Yeah mate, with the EWG weighted jig heads they sink horizontally which is awesome. The segmented tail makes the tail fan out when sinking and it has a lot of action while twitching. I think with a HWS they should sink horizontally too, I need to test them some more though.

Hey mate what brand weights to do use on those worm hooks, I think you mentioned you did it yourself. Nice fish by the way 👏

@@nathansmith6059 Thanks mate, I use Gamakatsu G-lock 1/0 hooks and weight them myself mate.

@fishonbaby thanks mate. What lead do you use? It's hard to find weighted worm hooks in finesse sizes, I've found- I understand why you make your own!

You can buy small strips of lead on eBay. Wrap.ot around the shank of the hook. Use some metal glue to prevent it moving.
