I always like the conversation in the trailer after the run. As an old drag racer, learning what happens is the most interesting part. When I am at the races, I might watch one round from the grandstands but the rest of the time I will spend in the pets watching the car get prepped for the next round.

The time ya'll take to actually talk about what happens and how you may change things (with a few deleted tuning things I am sure 😉). This track always has great performance and with the perfect weather this year it was killer!!! Enjoy seeing the entire team and the behind the scenes of how it all comes together! I think I've told you I started working in my uncle's shop when I was 12. Years before, my uncle had been a flat head guru & was the mechanic on the local ¼ mile dirt track hero's race car for years. I remember hearing them talk about racing when I was little. Being a normal boy, an explosion & pyro-maniac, my ears always perked up when they talked about blowing up motors. Boy, was I disappointed when I got older & experienced my 1st blowed up engine. I have wondered, at times, through out my life the origination of the phrase, 'blowing up an engine.' At 70, I finally know. Thanks, Clay... never too old to learn something new. GeoD
