Das ist so geil, danke! Ich bin selber seit 20 jahren 3D Generalist mit etwas UE4 Erfahrung. Ich weiß genau wie viel Arbeit und Zeit in deinen Mods und Leveln stecken die auf dem selben Niveau wie das Hauptspiel sind. Ich würde eigentlich auch gerne ins modding einsteigen, aber nach kommerziellen Projekten Abends am PC zu bleiben und noch „for free“ weiter zu arbeiten kostet echt Überwindung + eventuell Sehnenscheiden-Entzündung ^_^

Thank you! Well, PGI is constantly maintaining and updating the modding editor, which is also a huge task and involves person hours and costs.. So their approach is actually benefiting for everyone, to make MW5 so modable and provide well-working tools, but sure that also costs time on their side. :)

The lack of this is, in my opinion, is the most obvious obstacle in this game, second to hud and the AI. This fills a massive tactical hole. I found it so annoying to have missile boats in brawling situations. This is a major improvement on the game and appears to complete the experience. I will be downloading this as soon as I get home from work.

Enjoy! At the moment, vonCommander is still in Early Access on Patreon (pateron.com/vonSeiten) as Alpha, since it needs more “programming” and .. time. If you can support the Mod Development there, that makes it possible to invest more hours;)

That was an old extra mod, which sadly has its problems in the meantime causing holes in the landscape, broken buildings, etc.

Can we please get this "vonCommander" separate? I really like certain UI mods and the satellite uplink integrated into vonHud stops working when I have those other UI mods enabled. It's really annoying. Even using mods like the "Compass Headings" mod that has a really nice font breaks the "vonCommander" portion of vonHud.

A functionality needs to be tied into somewhere - in case of the vonCommander Interface it is the compass element. Otherwise it would be needed to be modded into the main HUD file, making vonHUD completely standalone and incompatible with other mods for e.g. HTAL, etc

It isn't quite MechCommander, but one hopes it's much less buggy than Mech5Commander...

Yeah it has a different purpose - it is a quick commanding interface, not a total conversion;)

You can still move around with arrow keys/joystick. Just shooting is disabled.

Oh the commander interface is available for all Patreons - still not polished, but in a generlly working condition :) here: www.patreon.com/vonseiten Since it sometimes has its quirks, releasing it "officially" is probably a bad idea because all the comments then going like "ahh this ahh that" ;)
