Taking it to yet another level. Thanks Yakaz. I'm not 100% clear on how to link the modules on the same level.

There is no need to link them on every level. On the lowest level (sandwich level) there is splitter and merger sitting on the end of vertical manifold. One can just hijack that output and daisy chain all stacks into mergers, technically funneling all plates into 1 output.
