I Use a cotton bags for onions and potatoes. No mess. One had pancake mix in it originally and another is from basmati rice. I was sick of the skins everywhere too.

You might want to get a separate bin for your onions and potatoes. Onions make potatoes sprout faster!

First thing I did when we got our house was have our contractor friend add one last shelf at the very top on the pantry! So much wasted vertical space, cost me less than $75!

U should get air tight containers for ur dry foods. Like flour sugar ect. I love mine!!

This is a great example of what is sustainable, sure you can have aesthetically pleasing pantries but if it's just not functional for you and your family it's not going to stay that way, so at the end FUNCTIONALITY and purpose has to come first!

YES VERY TRUE. POTATOES/ ONIONS ARE BETTER STORED IN A COOLER AREA; GARAGE OR REFRIGERATOR( for a smaller amount)👍🏾..... DON'T FORGET🧻( TP)

Don’t store your onions and potatoes together. Onions give off something that spoils potatoes faster. Also store onions in a darker container--last longer. :)

Please don't get too hung up on dates on food its a marketing tool for the stores primarily. Canned foods last years and dried food too . Glad to hear you say you will donate what you definitely won't use . 👍

Same. My jaw dropping moment it about the disposable plates and cutlery though. We just don't do that so much in the UK and never in huge amounts so you have some left after a party.
