It depends. Both have their purposes. Big fireworks are usually for shows and small fireworks are meant for fun in your backyard. Its a tie for me. Also it depends on how much money you plan on spending

It's hard to compare big pyro to small pyro. However.. I like both, But since "most people" start with small fireworks, small fireworks NEVER get old. Great video.

I think you should do a video of small vs big except, spend equal amounts of money on the small as you did the big stuff and then put on a show for each one. Big stuff is really cool but small stuff can get more and i bet a small show of equal value could be impressive too.

200 gram cakes vs 500 gram cakes which one makes a better show for the same price.

@@rjgallahue Depends upon the cakes. Some 200 gram cakes are better than many 500 gram cakes, and some 500 gram cakes are just flat boring. It is also often easier to find fancy effects in 200 gran cakes, for whatever reason. Even if I am spending a couple thou on fireworks for a show, I like to mix it up.

@@rjgallahue I can actually answer that... yes, you can. This fourth I fused numerous cheaper 200 gram fireworks to fire at the same time with pink fuse to make truly impressive single display units that rivalled or exceeded most of my 500 grams. Some 500 gram cakes are hard to beat though, lol. All total, I had over twenty 500 grams, so that statement should carry some weight. The key is watching videos over the products, selecting for desired effects, and matching to get the desired total you want in a single display unit, then use fusing to get the timing you want with only one fuse to light. You can bind them all together afterwards with inch and a half blue painters masking tape to make them easy to carry.

I dont have a lot of room, so my front drive is the only place to light off fireworks. My road is kinda busy to, so I do some 200 gram 9 shot or less cakes, fountains and ball shells. So it's mostly smaller things except for the shells, which can be single, double or triple shots.

Where did you in US got some Russian fireworks, and i have to say that is usual 1.2 inch fireworks we use about 5-10 of those for birthdays, weddings, or any other celebrations, however it's too small, and considered a ok, personally i use 3 inch long barrel, several stations about 300-400 shots!!!

IDK, some were more obvious, but what is the price difference on the big vs small cannister and ball shells? On those two items, both sizes did a pretty decent show, though the large two stage was very nice. If the bigger ones were 2x or 3x the money, fair, but if they were 5x the money or more....maybe not, esp for a non-block party kind of experience.
