Spencer is a absolute legend, we live in a different state and went over to Iowa for spencers charter, a little before we got there he had a issue with his boat, instead of canceling he called his freind and used his boat and taught me and my freind a ton about fishing! I had a blast on his charter!

Another great video Spencer!! I finally got my wife talked into camping on a sandbar for our first family camping trip just last weekend. Wife lost a decent one right at the bank around 3am. Didnt help she was still kind of sleeping. On the plus side she wants to do it again which is a major plus for me. I just FYI, if you have hand sanitizer either pour bit on wood or cut soda can into small cup pour a bit of sanitizer in it ,this will burn solidly for few minutes and start your fire. Also is can is cut to hold more you can light the sanitizer and use it like a small flame to warm hands and whatnot.

Seems like you like that spot and fish it quite a bit! Speaking of "zoning out" while fishing.... I've had a rod vanish on me when getting too relaxed and fishing for more bait. Forgot to set the rod in a holder, never even knew it was one until I went to check on it lol. Always pack some containers of dryer lint mixed with Vaseline for solid fire starter and a nice butane mini torch!

Great job on the flatty! I’m my opinion, when I use bullheads I clip the fins so it’s easier for the fish to eat! Especially the larger ones! Their spins are really stiff and sharp! Plus they are easier to handle in the dark! Tight lines bro!

I recently bought a yak just to go out yaking with my family. But mine actually has a couple of rod holders, so I plan using it to fish out of sometime in the next few weeks. Plenty of small streams, rivers, and lakes here in ky. I own a boat, but everyone says they have more fun fishing out of the yaks.Guess I'll find out soon enough. Maybe I can catch some big Ole flattys like u Spencer 😀

Kayak videos are the best ones bro. I like them all but the kayaking and fishing vids are what brought me here years ago man. Caught my first flathead a few weeks ago on the iowa river. Hit the cedar and iowa for a few days and caught some nice fish. Cooked some and let the bigger guys go as always. And as delicious as flathead is i think I'll always have a hard time eating them because their just awesome fish. I'm cool with sticking to eating the channels.

We both had to land those fish over the edge of the boat with our hands because the net was way to small and I had 6 pound test. There was no failing for each other being best freinds, and we would never would have lived it down. We had never seen fish that big and caught 2, a male and female which both were released
