I've noticed on lake Michigan running more than one 11in paddle will shut the fish off......is it the same on lake o?

What speeds are you running. I'm not sure of the best speed to run to get them to attack the bait at this time of year. I've been running 2.5-3.0 boat speed.

What's the difference between your 4/0 siwash hook and a 5/0 octopus hook?

The 4/0 is a bit smaller.......basically, they are the same hook. The Siwash is just an off set single hook......the one I am showing is probably an Octopus.
