Thank you guys for putting this video together. I had all the same issues you guys had. I would work through them and used your video to verify. Great truthful and helpful video. I bought two of these ladder stands and two of the big game tripod stands. The tripod directions sucked as well.

They sure make it hard to put it together. Manufacturer's instructions need to be exactly that: instructions. So glad you and Brandon went ahead and did it. Bet it helps a lot of hunters. Be safe😊

Carmen, the instructions are so bad most of the time i put things together without them. I hope we were able to help some people with this video. Thanks for watching.

Yours looks a little taller than mine. Mine has been in place for ten years and it still produces. A little maintenance every spring, and back up. Nice job guys. Happy Hunting.

Just bought this exact model and it seemed a bit confusing to me too with their instructions. I'm trying to assemble this thing myself and it's a struggle but I'm getting there. I also cannot complete the stand entirely because I have to transport the thing in sections, and I'll have to finish the assembly at the final destination. I'm certain that will make it even more confusing! lol Thanks for all the tips though guys. The perfect "how to" video I was looking for.

Great video, Kevin. That is a nice looking stand, and you're right the instructions on any of the tree stands we have put together aren't the best. Jerod and I have the Trophy Treestands - Samson, which is a two man ladder stand. The hardest thing we had problems with was putting the folding seat together. You about had to use a ratchet strap to bring the pieces together so you could get the material to fit properly. We have a review video of that on our channel. Looks like a real nice tree stand. We like the 2-man stands even though it is just being used as a one man stand, gives you plenty of room in the stand. Thanks for sharing your experience and video. Juddie

So the gun rest is supposed to use 3/8 bushings as shown and written in the instructions. You used the thin ones which is why it was hitting the screw.
@Robinson-HomesteadАй бұрын
Yeah you're right about the bushings, thanks for pointing that out.

You might want to check your installation on the front tube for your seat support. The bolt with the Allen heads should stay in place, then insert it into the round tube on the seat, put your boot in on the other side of the seat tube. Now you can use the Allen wrench and turn it counter clockwise and it will put tension on the nylon mess seat. Other than that, your video was very informative.

Thank you for sharing that helps.

How did you stretch the seat far enough to get the tube in. It appears my hole is off by at least 1/2 inch

I have one of these stands. The only thing I do not get is the "Rear Support Hoop". The instructions do not indicate how to utilize. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could it be put together without one of the ladder sections? Looking for a 12ft stand
@Robinson-Homestead11 күн бұрын
I don't know for sure but i don't see why you can't just leave a section off.

I finally. have. a place to put mine after 2 seasons or more now. Mines still. in the box but the place Im at now is a huge farm with stands everywhere but some of them are getting pretty sketchy so the least. I can do is put up a new stand for any of us to use. This one is a replacement for a Rivers Edge that. was stolen but that. one took me about 4 hours to. put together because of crappy instructions, hopefully this time it goes a bit faster.

Can someone please explain how to put that tension bar in the seat? I cant for the life of me get it pulled far enough apart to get the bolt through the tensiom rod on the seat. Im so frustrated, im almost ready to throw it away 😢
@krisalan53273 ай бұрын
First the tabs on the seat mount to the outside of the support post with washer in between, that will help Second of all leave the jack screw in! Screw the jack screw all the way in clockwise, now slide the bar through the open end until it seats into the tube that has a stop on it. Put 1 inch bolt in the end that doesn't have the screw,, now you can adjust the jack screw counter clockwise with the Allan wrench to tighten the seat
@megan58053 ай бұрын
@krisalan5327 my problem is that the side that has the bolt hole, counter clockwise just pushes the bar out of the unblocked side. There needs to be a video just for this part lol im starting to think the hole on the bar of mine was drilled wrong.
@krisalan53273 ай бұрын
@megan5805 there should be a hole in the adjusting rod and a hole in the short tube the rod is sitting in (opposite end of the screw side, it needs a bolt put in that hole to make it stay. It's a cross hole, the bolt will go through the short tube and the adjustment rod
@megan58053 ай бұрын
@krisalan5327 yeah, the problem is that the hole of the tube won't line up with the hole of the short tube. Like, I've tried pulling and stretching the seat material to pull the short tube with the bolt hole to try and line it up to the hole on the long tube. It's like the holes on the long tube were cut in the wrong place.
