See Gippy missing some things. One, he blames the colonizers for the hijacking of the culture putting out trash, but P is the blueprint. Gippy shits on New Yorkers, but sometimes doesn’t call a spade a spade on a few. No Limit had very limited talent and P was renting Mystikal from Jive. Notice on big songs featuring Mystikal he was repeating he was the shit on this label cuz he knew the No Limit machine didn’t run off of talent, it was marketing and scheming to keep Cash Money, the city of New Orleans and other southern acts down who were the light to expose what No Limit didn’t have which is the real reason Birdman will never work with him. Now Gippy speaks on Still Standing losing to I Got Tha Hook Up and questioning the music they were doing. Fast forward to today and what is everlasting? Soul Food and Still Standing. I’m from New Orleans and Tha Dungeon Family is the greatest talent ever assembled. No one was rocking with No Limit here, it was Cash Money and everyone else. We were blessed to have Goodie & OutKast as an outlet to get away for some bullshit being put out others. Time will always reveal what was missed.

Gipp speaking facts! NY was and still is the land of the f-boys. NY artists would literally travel to everybody city and were welcomed with opened arms, and made a lot of money doing so. But when out-of-town artist went to NY, they wouldn't let them book shows and didn't play their music on the radio. That kind of sucka ish is what set off the east coast/west coast fued. Gipp is like an old war vet that still has flashbacks of a lot of bs folks had to endure back in the day. He's been on the inside, and he's reported to outsiders why certain things you see today in hip-hop is the way it is. #SuckaFree

Quincy Jones wrote musical scores. What are you talking about? 😂 Diddy should never be in the same sentence as Quincy Jones
@avace9178 ай бұрын
@@brandonstephens990 Puff isn't musically trained at all. That's true. He's what you call an ear producer. He's there overseeing the beat making process, the vocal process and he hires everyone involved. That's literally what a producer's primary job is. That's where their similarities take a serious halt. Quincy is a master composer and musician as well which puts a big gap between them
