Thanks for asking! The later SP "series" hood units like SP 9010 are completely different locomotives. Not even the trucks can be re-used. Of course, continuing good sales of the SP and D&RGW "prototype" cab units would improve the chances for the "series" units.

You can see plenty of great close-ups of the SP As-Delivered KM models in the May issue of Model Railroad News. There won't be photos of the D&RGW As-Delivered KM models until after they are produced. Delivery is scheduled for late August 2024. You can expect the same quality and features of the SP models in the D&RGW models, with all the correct details.

"Patiently" waiting for the SP version of the DRGW model...also please make your sound versions easier to program to the modeler's preference for function keys. Great models, looking for to the updated versions of these units and the "hood" style units!

We tooled up for a huge array of roadname, road number and time-period-specific details, including for SP 9022. Patience will be rewarded. There are now detailed decoder instructions on our website. Programming is best done with either a PIKO SmartProgrammer or with JMRI DecoderPro. The "hood" units like the restored SP 9010 are completely different locos. Not even the trucks can be re-used.

I lost the lighting on it I do not know what happened hit number 9 one two times and nothing was good for about a week and does not work now looking for help try resetting it and that did not work
