I agree your opinion almost,but there is other many great RPG. for example,FF series,Dragon Quest series,Chrono series,Persona series,Phantsy Star 4,Mother series(EN:Earthbound),and other superior music RPG. I love especially Suikoden 1 and 2 in Suikoden series. It may be same reason of you. It's attractive Mrs.Miki Higashino music and sorrowful and excited majestic storyline.🤗 I think "One winged Angel"(by Mr. Nobuo Uematsu) and orchestral chorus music of Suikoden 1 and 2's value is almost same.

The intro itself was a brilliant move to the game, when I launched that game the very first time and saw it, you KNEW, with the dark tone, of that guy who looked insane, the killing he had done, to see that tiny green flower rising up and the good theme and all the good people show up, you KNEW this game was going to be epic. The intro set the tone for the entire game to any first time players!

Went back to play Suikoden 2 again recently, this is really a master piece and my favorite childhood game, I personally love this game more than FF7. Really sad that the series kinda ended after not doing so well after Suikoden 2. Also liked Suikoden 5 but still loved the 2d style of Suikoden 2 more.

I love the fact that an orchestra decide to play those music,takes me back.I have all suikoden original on ps 2 from 1 to 5 except for the suikoden tactic...I dont understand why they didnt or wont do a 6th one. the 2nd-1rst and 5th are the best.A little anecdote:my cousin found and bought me suikoden 2 in a pawn shop for 20 dollards...lol.Its worth at least a hundred dollard if not more in its original copy since the second is the rarest and toughest to find on the Play Station
