I definitely would’ve opened the packs with scissors.. if you got something really valuable, it would’ve been docked for bends, scratches, etc. but that’s more for selling.

Modern pokemon card packs cannot be weighed thats why there is white and green code cards the green codes are heavier than the white ones so there truly is no way to tell if there's anything good or not till you open it great video as always ❤

I remember when the original Pokemon cards came out. I wanted a Charizard SO bad, but the only place that had him wanted $35 for him. Just for the heck of it, I bought one pack from that place. I opened it in the parking lot.... and it had Charizard! I was over the moon!!!

You can't weigh modern packs anymore. The white card is thinner than the green card (you can feel it, or if you flex the card you'll notice it flexes easier), which means it's also lighter. It compensates for any difference in weight and makes it unpredictable.

Very last attempt on the Prize Locker game at the Islands of Adventure (Universal Studios Orlando) arcade, I won a pack of Pokémon cards! it even broke the machine so the attendant came over to help.

A lot of times those booster boxes actually have really great pull rates in most cases. Getting a full unopened box has a really good chance of getting you some very decent cards. I have been opening up Pokémon cards with my son since he was 5 and he just turned 24. It’s crazy how much this blew up in the past year. I blame Logan Paul for a lot of it. It’s been really frustrating having a hard time finding cards in stores which was never a problem before. October is when the 25th anniversary set is going to be dropped and things will be very crazy once again. My heart was racing and my stress level went up when Aune was going through the cards. For several of the packs when she was holding them and going through them there was enough pressure being put on the cards that they were bending in the middle downward a little bit. I was screaming at the screen, loosen your grip a bit-Please please please don’t bend them. LOL 😂

An average box from the Sword and shield era will be about 7-8 ultra rares, one being a secret and one being a full art. I've gotten one that had 14 with 3 secret rares and a full art, and I got a box of 6 with no secrets or full arts.

@@TheArcadeCouple Basicly if you have good ones if u save them for like 20 years and keep them in mint condition than sell them and you can earn alot of money. if you get a really rare card you should send it off to be graded and thats a 1-10 10 being highest anyways lets say a card is worth 100 dollars get it graded and if its a 10 it could be worth 300. But thats only how to make some money
