@@HarryLongworthMusic you? No way. Lol I'm just starting playing. I think it's in my DNA. I just started late.my dad was self tought. He tried to teach me I was too young and didn't want to work thru the pain. My dad passed in 2017. I'm doing this for me and him. I need to find a good teacher that I vibe with.

It's never too late :) When it comes to pain...It's totally normal for the fingers to get sore when you're starting out....but serious discomfort could be due to technique or a guitar that's not suitable (Strings too heavy....action too high etc.) I'm sorry to hear that :) But glad you've found a positive :) If you haven't trouble finding a good teacher in person you're welcome to send me an email [e-mail] See if Zoom Lessons would suit you.
