RTC 2021: look up infominds documentary on “139th NFL crew”. It goes on an extensive in depth background of that era in Harlem and explains why L was targeted. Sadly, he almost brought it upon himself just by rolling with his brother. I highly recommend.

Big L had nothing to do with Uncle Howie records or the crew at all. That's "non fiction", you're mistaken, all good all love just saying.... Big L was actually about to sign with Rockefeller because him and Jay Z had came up together on some level, before he was taken away from us and this is just facts, I miss him all the time he was my favorite rapper or at the very least in the top three no matter what, salute bro

only just starting educating myself properly on hiphop lately! question: do they mean by distribution by fatbeats. Fatbeats recordstore from Amsterdam back in the days? Just a sudden thought/question popping op on my mind. Regards 25 year old lad born and raised the from capital of the Netherlands! (just lit up a proper joint before listening tbh) Groeten uit Mokum aka shoutout from Amsterdam!

yoo welcome to the hiphop underground, if you look hard enough always new old music to discover. To answer you question Fatbeats is a record label that started in 1994 out of New York, but it has record store locations in Amsterdam, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. cheers from California blazing as we speak

One of the GOATS and didn't even have 2 real albums. Well he did have two albums but the second one had to be manipulated because he was killed before it happened. I don't know if everybody knows but Big L got shot in the head by somebody who hated his brother and had beef with his brother not him, and his brother was in jail at the time, so because he couldn't get to him in prison he shot Big L (My Influence) in the head, the greatest punchline MC of all time and one of the greatest artists in hip of all time.
