Big Lap Shakeout Trip - How will we go as a family of five in a caravan? Sandy Cape, Kalbarri.

We've got our caravan, we have our car, now it's time to test them out and iron out the creases before we take off for our big lap of Australia. There is a big difference between the 4x2 house that we lived in and the 22 foot caravan that we were moving in to. Could we make it work with three energetic young boys.
We decided to head up the coast in search of some slightly warmer weather. Our first stop was Sandy Cape Recreational Park situated just north of Jurien Bay. We absolutely loved this camp ground. We originally only planned to stay one night, but we loved the location so much that we stayed an extra night.
Our next stop was at coronation beach located just north of Geraldton. We only stayed there the night and then headed on to Kalbarri.
On our way to Kalbarri we stopped off at Hutt Lagoon to check out the pink lake. The hue of the pink water is like nothing else, and it looks even more amazing from the air in the drone footage.
From Hutt Lagoon it's not a long drive to Kalbarri. We stayed at the Red Bluff Tourist Park. We had a great spot overlooking Red Bluff. We were no in Kalbarri for very long, but whilst there we were able to check out the Sky Walk and Natures Window at the Kalbarri National Park. We also had a good walk along the beach and the rocks at Red Bluff.
Unfortunately, we did not have long in Kalbarri as it was time to head back to Perth. On our way back we stopped off at the Lynton Convict Depot near Port Gregory and camped our last night at the Eneabba Recreation Centre, a great little cheap camp.
So there were a few things that we figured out on our trip that we had to change, a few things that we had to add and probably some things we could loose. Once back in Perth we would finalise what we had o before taking off for the trip of a lifetime!
