The Iowa Northern Railway train had an interesting lash up of engines with a lot of tank cars in tow. Both Canadian National L571 trains had more than enough engines to power each train. That was nice of the second Canadian National engineer to give you a horn salute.

Those nice sunny days can still chill you to the bone but since the dogs were with you it helps take your mind off it. Still a couple hours of snow from the same storm you probably had but possibly more off the lake. That was a rather lengthy Iowa Northern Train and I've never seen that ATW\FXE combination which makes me think those cars are usually in a captive pool but certainly not in Iowa. For sure there was one Louisiana Midland "Super Rust" covered Hopper possibly even two more. Lone B&LE gon probably one junk tie roundup. Both CN trains have plenty of power and even enough tank cars to cover an ethanol extra. The empty WC bulkhead flat still in green with the BC Rail emblem is way out of place as these are pulpwood loading cars in upper MI & WI however the side posts are cut off and There is almost no flooring left. CN was under pressure to provide cars for log loading and after they bought some new bulkheads with sides they put them in service hauling pipe from Birmingham AL It's a mix of old CN. CNIS. BCIT. BCOL that got remarked WC and there was also a group from Algoma Central which are still AC. Who knows could be headed for scrap. The Drone had the best day inside where it was nice and warm

Yes Paul B, spring is hopefully early this year! We lucked out around here, only a little over an inch of snow. I would guess a lot of those CN units were through power. Interesting about the bulkhead cars. More train action for the dogs this weekend👍

​​​@@redsiowatrainvideos6645 Forgot to mention the gondola in there marked VSY is the first one Ive ever seen from the Ultra obscure V&S Railway with a terminal line in Hutchinson KS and a line in Mission.Springs KS going into Colorado. It as heavy into Railcar storage and track reclamation. Since you're into CNW try these 🎥 Mike N8RBI Radio. CSX & Wheeling and Lake Erie signal failure and go to 28:00 with some great power and then look for the huge Fleet of green covered hoppers. Also a Penn Central & Rock Island cars. On a sadder note but I liked the camera work Railcars. Torch Cutters. Chris Tomlin. I will follow is the video and you'll see a CNW 50ft boxcar meeting it's end. This may be an old Rock Island car that Union Pacific rebuilt 6 or 7 years ago repainted brown with a UP herald. These guys seem to travel the country working on scrapping big items
