Put Patrol on stands under chassis with jack taking some weight of the diff. undo shock at bottom, let jack all the way down, 3" coil all but drops out. if it doesn't stand on hub & push diff down & the coil will drop out! much safer, quicker & easier than using those jaw breakers & pulling the bump stop out, I've done it this way with up to 6" coils. sorry lad, but you made that look difficult!

Cheers for the comment but I did all that. Got my old man even jumping on the hub and it wasn’t going lower it wasn’t coming out. I could have pulled front end apart like radius arms off but too hard on stands.

TO EVERYONE COMMENTING… yes patrol was on jack stands, and diff was down and was jumping on hub even and coils weren’t even close to coming out. Best bet other than compressors was undo radius arms which is a nightmare laying under the car. Appreciate you all :))

yep 3 inch, and I think 200kg maybe. and -23 offset

Just drop the diff on the ground with the car on stands no need for spring compressors

That’s what I did. And you need spring compressors. To not need to use spring compressors you need to undo half the front end.

@@traveln4x4 yeah that’s true. Changing the radius arms to a 80 series style with a heim joint drag link loosen up the front end heaps
