As is the case with all Big Lots stores, the chain is shutting down due to their bankruptcy case. 200-400 stores will be reopened but it is currently unknown which locations that will happen to. Just visited my big lots sadly they are closing down it's the last one here in Evansville Indiana sad to see all places you had your childhood memories at closing down but it good to see people like you keeping the memories alive tyvm 😊

GB released a new list of leases for sale today, adding a bunch more locations including this one. The go-forward list is looking like a maximum of about 210 stores at this point

Here in Washington state . We just had ours close as well . We still have a couple red boxes still working. We still have a Kmart sign. Next to a Payless sign it’s pretty cool .

Wallie i talked to a manager in Frostburg, MD store today and he confirmed that all the stores will be closing. Then the new oweners will decide which stores to reopen between 6 weeks snd 6 months. And he said the liquidation is being handled very poorly.

Went to the Big Lots in Moundsville,WV a couple days after Christmas and it was almost completely empty. You can tell that the employees were not sure what they will do when it closes. Hope things work out for them😢

As a resident of Summersville I can tell you this that's not the original location the original location is closed now and is in the same plaza as the Dollar General next to it was a Krogers and an old school abandoned Pizza Hut location there was an old school abandoned KFC there as well but it was torn down recently

Where Jackson’s meat shop is in Summersville Wv was the big lots and Kroger was before the big lots it was a Ames if what my mom told me is right😂and the big lots your in actually use to be a Kohl’s before that shut down I think 2009 or 2010 I honestly forgot since it’s been so long anyways keep up the great work

There is a big lots closing at middle river Maryland, you better hurry if you want to catch it in time, and while you're at it, you can even head to the abandoned SEARS at whitemarsh mall around the corner, the SEARS still has the sign like the late Ames did

Wallie, check it out a small water bottle(16 oz) 7/11 brand, no less rang up $3.99. I kid you not. I put that water back in the cooler and left the store in search for a garden hose. No way am I paying 4 bucks for a store brand small bottle of water. I was born at night but it wasn't last night.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
