I've been following the news about this channel since I found out about it and since it's coming to my area at launch I'm totally fascinated with the whole thing. It's not everyday you get to witness the first days of a brand new broadcast TV station, let alone one as nifty as an all classic cartoons channel! Keep up the great work! I just subbed so I don't miss any MeTV Toons news

glad I found out about this! been kinda stoked ever since I heard they were launching this! doesn't look like we're getting an affiliate near us, so to hear frndly and philo are getting it, that would be tempting to subscribe to just for this! definitely a ton of faves from my childhood are here, including some deep cuts I definitely wouldn't have expected! (like I could see speed racer, but marine boy? hadn't heard of that one but it looks like it aired roughly the same era? and it's Japanese)

Apparently, the programming manager for metv announced that the initial schedule is only temporary and that they also just finalized a deal with shout factory and retrocrush to turn the Saturday night slot that consists of midnight to 3 AM into a anime block titled me TV anime, which is supposed to be very reminiscing of classic old-school Toonami

Also, a number of theatrical shorts such as Woody Woodpcker, Popeye, Mr. Magoo, Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear, and Casper the Friendly Ghost, prime hits such as The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Jetsons, & Jonny Quest. Captain Scarlet And The Mysterious, never seen that show. Fireball XL5, never seen that show either. Joe 90, never seen that show either. Supercar, never seen that show either.

That's nice, but for "reasons" (including data caps) I will not go down the streaming route (only option in my area) I can wait for my local broadcasters to pick it up. Most likely when they realize how big of a hit it'll be they'll be sure to add it. METV in my state is operated by a 3rd party broadcasters (Hearst, Craft, Reynolds Media, Waypoint Media), but with money tight, and the line up of good shows I'm sure that people will bug our local branch to include it on their OTA line up. * I edited this comment to add all my state's broadcast operators that run METV in my state.

Yeah, the only thing you need in order to watch it on your TV is a good antenna and rescan the channels on June 25, 2024. If you can pick the regular MeTV in your house with the antenna right now, then you dont to worry about picking up MeTV Toons since is going to be the same frequency on the regular MeTV Channel, bro. Thats why I believe MeTV Toons is going to be a huge success comparing the 3 major kids networks from cable and satellite channels, bro. Because the ratings counting the 3 major networks doesnt reach 120,000 viewers at all when MeTV viewership is between 400,000 to 800,000 viewers depending on the show airing and timeslot, bro. But on average is from 500,000 to 600,000 viewers on MeTV, bro. Sadly Nickelodeon has only 94,000 viewers, Nicktoons 64,000 viewers, Cartoon Network 61,000 viewers, Boomerang 36,000 viewers, Disney Channel 117,000 viewers and Disney XD 23,000 viewers when MeTV has 606,000 viewers, bro. Imagine how its going to be the ratings and the viewership of the brand new MeTV Toons since those cartoons that they are going to broadcast on MeTV Toons are for everyone like the early Cartoon Network of 1992, bro.

The real reason of MeTV Toons is going to be successful its because you can watch it from the antenna and it doesnt require cable and satellite services or providers and if you have Philo or Frndly streaming apps than MeTV Toons is going to be available too with the current MeTV Channel, bro. The other kids networks from the traditional TV requires cable and satellite providers and almost half of subscribers of cable and satellite since 2010 or so, have cut the cord never went back and more people are cutting the cord everyday, while OTA TV its still strong and its going to be stronger than ever when people starting buying antennas from walmart or whatever place and hook up on the back of the TV and scan the channels and you will see that most people in the USA can pick MeTV and MeTV Toons with no problems at all and you dont need to waste your money on your monthly cable and satellite bills in order to watch MeTV and MeTV Toons, bro. Unfortunately in my country Puerto Rico we dont have MeTV nor will have MeTV Toons. Not even on Cable and Satellite Providers in Puerto Rico carries MeTV at all. Not even Directv and Dish Puerto Rico carries MeTV at all, bro. I mean we need to demand Claro, Liberty, Directv, Dish, Kiwisat, etc to carry MeTV and MeTV Toons on the basic cable package and also we need to demand to bring MeTV and MeTV Toons signal or coverage to Puerto Rico on OTA TV so can everyone can watch it without problems, bro.

Unfortunately in Puerto Rico we can't get MeTV Channels at all not even Cable and Satellite Providers carries MeTV Channels at all, bro. @@luis95198 I got METV on OTA (Over The Air) in my area however I will not have METV Toons when it launches. METV is owned by Weigel Broadcasting however at the time of posting only METV stations the are BOTH owned & operated by Weigel Broadcasting are guaranteed to have it on launch day. Stations not Operated by Weigel Broadcasting have to agree to carry it and in my area Hearst Broadcasting operates it (Think of it as a franchise owner) All of the METV stations in my state are owned by either Hearst or other broadcast owners Weigel Broadcasting dose not own a FCC license in my state In fact METV is not even in the largest OTA market in my state it's only available thru Cable TV or streaming. So anyway Hearst (and dozens of other operators) will have to agree to carry it before other markets can pick it up OTA. I do know that some smaller broadcast owners have agreed However mine is not only one of the largest broadcast owners, but it's the same one that bought the failing CW network from Warner Brothers Discovery for just their the amount of their debts ($0 + debt). So convincing them to suddenly team up with them & Weigel on a brand new network is going to be a hard sell unless they can truly see that it is going to be a success. You & me both think it will be, but they are far more cautious so I can't really blame them for that either.

Well Philo charge $25 per month for 70+ channels not $8 per month, unfortunately. But you need to check the TV Guide Menu on your cable provider if you have MeTV channel right now. If you have MeTV right now than you should not have problems to get MeTV Toons but it can take time to get MeTV Toons on Cable and Satellite Providers because of the licensing issues from the media companies, bro. Thats why always demand your cable provider to carry MeTV and MeTV Toons on your package if your TV antenna doesnt pick MeTV Channel on your area, bro.

Can't do Spiderman own By Marvel and Disney they can do fantastic four 1967 because hanna barbera did it which is own by warner brothers they still have the rights .That's he only Cartoon and Fred and Barney meet the thing cartoon in 1979 Warner Brothers. They should show the Marvel 1966 and Spiderman 1967 but Disney is too strict and won't allow it, which they should because they don't wanna show their library. Sad Disney didn't make no type of Marvel base cartoons until the early and late 2010's decade..

MeTV is on WBBZ - DT Channel 67.1 from Buffalo, New York 🦬 is available over the air with an outdoor HD TV antenna in the Toronto (GTA) area is also available in the Hamilton - Niagara Falls neighborhood and Fort Erie, Ontario across the lake from Buffalo, New York. I hope WBBZ - DT Channels 7/67 picks up MeTV Toons soon and puts it on a vacant channel spot on Channel 67.10/7.10 in Buffalo, New York or put it on one of WNYO - DT Digital Sub Channel on Digital RF UHF Channel 49.8 in Buffalo, New York
