Always fun to get them designed by the state. You can install your own septic in TN. I got stuck with a pump system and 370’ of field lines.

Some subscribers and non subscribers will post suggesting you do this and do that then they will call and report you and have your KZbin video as proof. I follow a couple who is going through this presently one of their subscribers called CPS on them and their local building inspector.

Hey Tim. We went through the same thing. I’m not fixing mine because I am not selling. We just had an addition on and told them it’s a bedroom and it’s still down as two bedroom and not three. Town officials pack of idiots here. Oh well. Good luck🤞🇺🇸

Well, the Barndominium will last longer than you will. The next family to own it might well have a need for 3 bedrooms and make the office a bedroom. Luckily they don't count butts in their assessments, just bedrooms!

no way I am paying someone to tell me what I can and cant do on my property. built our houses ourself and have set all 3 of our septics ourself and no issues for 20+ years. let the sun get to fill line to keep it dry, keep tank pumped out every 10 years. sorry you live where they make so much off you to build your dreams.

Could you not of left the door to the bathroom out? Studded it for a door but covered with drywall. Then after closing, cut the drywall out and put in your door!
