Corrections and information :- 1) at a junction, spacing of stirrups should be less and each stirrup should start from the face of the column 2) Tension zone should have more steel than compression zone (Singly reinforced) 3) hooks of the stirrups should be at 45 degree inside the stirrup. 4) plane brick work layer should below plinth beam and should have cover 30 mm at bottom & other sides too. 5)for simply supported beam (seen in video) should be their bars bend as L in Columns . 6) bottom bars should be heavier than top bars in simply and continuous beams and vice versa for Cantilever beams with reference to steel design. 7) stirrups should be perpendicular to the beam bars..And should tie it fix. 8) Extra over support at L/4 should be there at a junction. 9) Always use or refer Steel design and consult a good structural Engineer. 🤗🤗👍👍
@subhasbabu2007

There is no rule that it should be more steel in Tenson zone first to check confirm whether it is under reinforced or over reinforced best example sunshade reinforcement is over reinforced element, any structure should be designed as under reinforced only over reinforced designs are very danger. and that subject belongs to Over confidence

For those who are confused about why the tension bars are placed at the top of the beam, it is simply because the compression zone is located on the bottom of the beam instead of the top due to the force exerted from the ground on the beam from below. Thats why the upperpart of the beam is being stretched and the bottom part compressed.

Sir, you are making a lot of fuss over what are probably minor issues. I agree with you that the tie-wire should be neatly snipped but it's not the end of the world. As to the fitment spacing, without reference to the drawings everything was said has no context. as long as the maximum spacing is not exceeded it's acceptable.

a j the load directing to earth center is only punctual at every end of the beam (see the pillars there). but the beam is laying with whole length on the ground. when the load is applied, the ground presses upwards to the beam. it is like a beam with two supportings and a line load - but upside down. that means, that in the middle of the beam the tension side is on the top.

Strange. Two observations: 1. What has 5 storey or any number of floors got to do with stirrups in a framed structure beam, that too a plinth beam 2. Why is the crank inverted, with more steel in to layer than bottom layer...is this being designed for upheaval ??. In short a STRANGE vedio !!!
