As of writing this I'm a level 370 Crusader with a Damage of 7620, Resonance of 1630 and CR of 6819 and I've only just discovered that opening the chest on level 4 bring the immortals. That said I came late to being in a Shadow clan and for the longest time never did Level 4 as everyone would leave after level 3. The few times I have attempted lvl 4 and fought immmortals I have been destroyed as I always am so I don't bother. So much of this game is far too one sided for me. Obviously I enjoy a lot of it as I wouldnt be as high a level as I am however I only do PVP BG and vault raids for my daily shadow clan quests as they are far too unsatisfying. Thanks for the video though. I don;t think many people know the level 4 chests issue.

​@@F2Pcrusader Yeh maybe. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. As of writing this I'm a level 383 Crusader with 7612 Damage 6873 CR and 1660 Resonance. Most of my primary armor is upgraded to level 16. All but one of my secondary armor is at level 9. Helliquary is at 29. I have 4 of the same greens. I've cleared up to level 182 challenge rift. Just to give you a general feel for where I am at. I get totally destroyed in PVP most of the time. In BG I'll maybe get 2 kills. As of 2 days ago I've finally become an Immortal for the first time, got invited to a new Immortals clan. I know lots of people have been Immortal 2 or 3 times by now but I was the leader of a shadow clan keeping the leader role safe for a friend for 10 weeks which I enjoyed so I haven't been an immortal yet. Seen everything from the shadows side even though I've played from day 1. I'm now seeing what it's like being an immortal. Defending the vault is essentially a long wait followed by PVP and I have been getting trashed in that as well. PVP in my opinion is only for whales with high resonance. I run holy banner and holy fire so I am good in support but I just get trounced by the other classes. I need to find a good PVP build if I'm going to persist with DI as I've reached a point where it's feeling a bit over it. OK I've reaced immortal status. Great. I'm still shit at the game. Love the defense of cyrangar and have a great warband but it's just not that satisfying. I only do the BG if I have to for my daily quests. Not sure how people could enjoy it unless they have spent $10k on gems.

@@bfam6066 I totally feel you. You are not alone. Melee classes are at a disadvantage in PVP and I feel like Crusader is the absolute hardest. The problem is how hard it is just to get into melee range. I tried that type of Banner + Holy Fire build as well and it didn't work for me either. It's great for support and damage, but you die to quickly. Furthermore, being F2P with low resonance just makes it even worse. That build is great for whales but not us. For us F2P players, survival needs to be a priority. So my BG build uses Conjuration of Light in its normal shield form and a 4 piece Mountebank set. I got Phoenix Ashes a while back too, but the shield it gives is trash so that's not important. The rest of that build is about CC/support. It works much better than focusing on damage. Even so, another important thing to practice is leaving fights before you die.. which may be very quickly, but you can still provide the support needed for wins, even if you don't get many kills. Stay tuned, I'll post that build soon!

Lol good video I wish more people knew this stuff. U have no idea how hard I tried convincing shadows a few months back about how leaving at 3 or dying at 4 was the same thing so might as well try. Even had some say I was baiting people into losing stuff. Just shook my head. Also being in gladiator from the beginning, I thought everyone already knew.... Lol guess not. As for now tho we in our 3nd immortal reign so I'll take this as good news ... Untill I'm a shadow again lol

this is why you run with same group always and have a few others who can fill in if one or more cant make it. plus discord or other voice chat also.

Very true. Sometimes friends aren't available or you just want to squeeze in a run at the end and you have to roll with randos. Some players also just don't have those connections and must rely on a random group. This video is for those situations. Also, I agree about voice chat. It's important for coordination.

I love vault. I always do a group with my clan so we can plan it all out. Most times we kill the immortals on floor 2 :) so we can take all the goodies without wardens 😆 🤣 I've found random parties before and it was always a disaster!

What are your levels? How do you do so well in PVP?

@@bfam6066 I'm Paragon 395ish, 6.9k damage, 86k health, 6.2k CR, 600 resonance. There are a lot of factors to doing well in PVP. Stay tuned because I plan to put out videos that will explain that stuff. The short of it is using an effective build (focusing on survival over damage if you're F2P), playing smart (when to use skills, fleeing before dying, playing the objective in BG), and having a solid party. With some practice and help from my videos you'll raise your game.

On 3 separate occasions I have found legendary items in vault, gone to 4th floor and lost this items after Immortals kill us. This is post updarte. So now I skates leave if I get a legendary

Yeah if you're lucky and get a legendary item, it's best to leave before the PVP to make sure you keep it.

Always do vault with ppl you have played with on a regular basis, usually with wb or clans. Those trash in pub match up are too unpredictable for u to win against immortals

The right way is you should ignore the warden in lower floors so you can fight immortals. No immortals can enter vault after you killed them in lower floors. So its wiser to fight them earlier than in 4th floor because all your efforts are wasted in 3 floors if got killed in 4th floor. Plus they (immortals) received less rewards if winning in lower floors.

Yes, you can take away rewards from the Immortals by fighting them on a lower floor but that also means less hilts for you because of all the chests you'll miss.

Also, there's a perfectly good reason to bail on the vault after 3: it protects you from losing hilts cap to idiots opening chests. I've not had immos summoned on me in my past 20 v3 runs. The only risk I face of not getting all my weekly hilts, is going to v4. That plus I get the lovely experience of being facerolled by whales, too? No thanks lol

Yes, in most cases, you are risking losing some weekly hilts cap when you go to the 4th floor. That's why in the beginning, I tell everyone to not open chests on 4th and to rush boss. However, with randos, there's always a risk. So, ideally you get a group with clan members (assuming your clan knows what's up) or friends you've made in the game who know what to do. As for getting stomped by immortals, yes that is the most likely outcome as in general, immortals are strong players than shadows shadows. However, you can still beat them sometimes with a good group and matchup. There are always some weaker immortals. So, even though you usually don't win. I enjoy the challenge, and I love that you have a chance to win as underdogs and spoil some immortal group's run. It's so satisfying! ..Also, if you win on the 4th,, that means more hilts for you, albeit not much.

Yes they do. So I get it.. You're saying you could just do another run to get those hilts. You are right, but it's worth noting that there's a cap on how many runs you can do per day now (I think 5). So, if you haven't hit your caps it's the end of the week, or if you don't get to do vault much in general, it's worth trying the 4th floor. Also, I just enjoy PVP in general, and even though you lose most of the time, it makes those wins sooo much more satisfying.

No it only counts for the clan of the player who clicks on the chest. If it counted for everyone in the party, shadow clans would have their clan focus complete way too fast.. like in the first hour of vault for the week.

Yes, but it also still counts towards your weekly cap on chests and hilts. That's the problem. So, yeah, you just lose what you got on 4th, but then you're also reducing the total amount of hilts you can get from vault that week.

I would consider you on the very strong side of F2P. If you have those stats without money then you definitely grind way more than the average F2P, which I think is more casual.

Why risk floor 4, especially with random group.. You will reach the weekly cap anyway if you do 2-3 raid runs every day

I was wondering when someone would ask. It's a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The screen is 3088 x 1440 pixels.. much wider than 16:9 widescreen. I wish the game had a setting to only use a 16:9 section so I didn't have to crop it and lose quality.

No. Only one group of immortals can enter each vault instance. I've even had no immortals come, but that's very rare.

You're right, if you want to be literal, I'm not F2P, but I still consider myself as such. I only bought the first bundle for like $1 to get the flames on my sword and some insignificant loot. Now, honestly, I did put $100 in to buy orbs but as anyone else who has done this will tell you, it doesn't really amount to anything. I thought if I bought a 2 star quality of a 5 star gem that it would only need the gem power to upgrade that a regular 2 star gem does.. I was wrong. All 5 star gems need the same amount of gem power to upgrade, no matter what quality. So it got me a gem that I couldn't upgrade and it had less reso/cr than my current gems. So, I'm still at the same place in the game as the average F2P player. I could've easily grinded what I got from the $100. Plus, the big Diablo creators have put in thousands and still claim to be F2P. So yes, I consider myself F2P.

You should not open chests at any floor until full clear. This way if alerted immortals come and defeat u they will not get any points.

I've always wondered this myself.. and is it based on individual essentia pickup or the group total? It seems to be based on % as a group. What I do know is the most hilts I've ever gotten from 3 floors is 40 and from winning on 4th floor is 50.

I guess it doesn't matter. I was thinking I could bail early when there are only like 10 hilts left in my cap. But that's a bit mean to the others since they might not stop a warden in time. The right thing to do is at least finish v3.

I don't play pvp I always leave on 3rd floor because 99.99% of the time they just 1 shot or team shot you basically, so in my opinion it's not worth even the time it's very unbalanced

Sorry bro but from what i see, is u who doing the mistakes here. If u dont want to fight the immortal, just clear all the wardens then leave on the 3rd floor. So u will not look stupid entering floor 4 and continue looting and let those immortals to kill u. It is 100% chance for immortal to come inside the vault once u enter it. If u really want to fight the immortals, fight them on the second floor. Clear the first chamber down the stairs, delay the warden until u clear the chamber. Then just wait for the wardens to scream. Then try your luck there to fight them. That is the best place for u to kill the immortals. I do that everyday. I enter vault just to kill the immortals 😂 goodluck

Do what works for you. I was just trying to inform people because most players seem to not know how it all works. I did make some mistakes but I put the tips/info in text on screen to make sure people understand. Keep in mind I'm a F2P content creator right now so I think that was the only vault footage I had.
