Im from San Jo, 32 years young and not affiliated (never officially was) but I used to turn all my homies on to the valley artists like Sonny Boy Lokzter, P.B.C., Kriminal, Droopy Lecter, and Sir Dyno who were spitting that classic cholo/chicano stilo keeping it alive. As a kid I identified more with that than the hyphy/thizz era stuff that was also popping at the time. Good times ✌️

Shout out Fort Worth big mister was very intrigued on this interview hearing this guy story man he really went thru it as I’m sure we all do god tests his biggest soldiers but when you said Fort Worth it blew my mind it felt like a sign I grew up in the gang culture and it was rough on my family growing up but like you said we always compare our trauma to other peoples stories to make ourselves feel better about the situation.
