Russia at the end will look after its national interest Russia is saying Payments must be in Dollars Russian Gas is being cancelled Supplies have been Late Russia is taking steps that are affecting India's exports and trade with Russia I think so Dr Jaishankar should hold a meeting with Lavrov and Putin and Russia's energy minister to Not take steps that affect india at such uncertain times Since India supported Russia on Ukraine Modi and Jaishankar should be Direct with warning Russia to refrain from taking steps that affect our trade with Russia This would also affect India's Neutral support for Russia on World forums India should also take counter steps like Imposing import duty taxes on Russia We need to give them a message that India is not dependent on Russian oil and market India can get Gas and oil from around the world and can do that in Rupee trade

I am not sure what you mean is correct. When an Indian businessman sell a product costing $100, he will get $96 in return due to 4% duty. Apparently, it means the same product will be sold in $104 which will thereby be bad for our Indian business to compete against other products due to higher price. And extra $4 will go the bank/govt
