I have made so many moves over the years following my husbands career. We bought and sold 10 houses. I know they say that a house sells better with furniture in it, but I always preferred looking at an empty house. I could see my furniture better in an empty pallet. Take heart, your house will sell . I know it’s scary, but the right family will come along. Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m a maximist too!

You can use a piece of plywood to patch holes in dry wall as long as it is the same thickness as the wall.

I love watching every video! The house should sell easy, there not going to have do anything but move in. Most homes aren't move in ready as you well know. Lol. I love the outlet hack, great idea. At least you have the time to fix the little things before you actually move completely in. I love the cabinets they are beautiful, im just like you. I love white but i love my wood pieces as well, most of them we have made so not going to change them just for a whem. God bless😊

Those feet on that couch, I saw a woman stack three of those type of feet to make a cool Christmas tree. A beautiful metal candle holder was the base and a finial from a day bed was the top. Watch him closely after you move, ours went back to the old house where he grew up. He was gone 2weeks. A neighbor from the other neighborhood let us know he had been there. I love dark woods . Chris is such a wonderful husband to have. 😊❤

I saw a video where they just used a piece of paper to patch a hole in drywall and they, put spackle over it, let it dry, textured it, painted it and it works! I did it!

I love your journey. It just makes you more human n a way we all (or I) get to know you better. Like I’ve said before. We have much in common. I love my antiques n the beautiful wood that gives its history. I live my Ironstone n my white walls. Have many accents in my house that is black or gray n I don’t give a hoot if it’s not in style anymore. As long as I’m happy no one is gonna argue with me. I do like your buffet some call it a side board. Definitely my style. I bet your kitty’s are a bit concern as to what’s going on. No furniture to lay their sweet booty on. FYI you should usually spot prime the patches as they absorb paint differently if not and you can see the patches through the difference.
