Great reaction Rod, always loved Big Narstie talking about how he stuck with Grime whilst others ran to pop music only to come back when Grime came back on top, and they claim they saved the scene - Big Narstie does an interview with Charlie where he names them. Have you checked out Ren - Monster and Ren - Losing It (Fisher Rap version) - I know you were less into Ren - Hi Ren, but these are completely different and show the range in genre he jumps into.

Thank you and I will have to check out that interview. I did enjoy Ren and do have Losing It listed but will add Monster. I just haven’t had time to get to more of his stuff as I try to keep bringing in a mix of artists for the channel. Being a former radio dj and lover of music since I can remember, I enjoy his style and recognize Ren’s talent for sure as well. 👍🏾

Great reaction. Small point on the 'repeated lines' comment though, DJ gave him a wheel up cause that bar about people in the scene picking up the white flag and running for pop music was fucking killer.

the second verse is hella deep, he's dissing so many rappers because 90% of them went pop or Drum & Bass in the late 2000's because nobody could make real money due to censorship and show's getting shutdown in every city but Narstie never switched up an has always kept it Grime.

Yeah, but all new to me still, lol. But for me a nice reminder of some of the classic styles that we had in the states back in the late 80s and 90s especially when he had the conscious flow over here, and before it got corrupted. ✌🏾
