We chop more firewood, dismantle our neighbour’s old kennels to repurpose them into a goose house and we share our plans for planting potatoes this season. But the biggest news of all-we head to the city to sign the final papers for a HUGE grant that will have a major impact on our future projects!

Hi i dont know if you watch any other Irish utubers there’s a couple on the Irish homestead they’ve had a terrible time with the storm lost the metal roof off of there temporary home they are in real need of metal roofing etc and insulation if you know anyone who has any spare their names are Sam and Bec

That was only a temporary galvanised roof on the mobile home that was used to insulate the roof of the mobile home not as bad as you believe.

Yes we know them. They did seem to have a huge amount of damage which is unfortunate 😞

Double your galv and perspex duck run use and grow cucumber vines on it as well. That square galvanised mesh is great veg trellis.

Amazing news on the grant guys, well done - job well done and well deserved! The parking in the city is an absolute nightmare! I managed to find a spot for the 7.5m campervan when I visited for the marathon last year at the Sacred Heart Church. Although not very convenient when just popping into town as its all the way at the end of Fitzgerald Park - but literally the only spot I could come up with. You have some great projects getting lined up - good to see you guys having fun with other creative ideas.

Yes the visit to Cork was pretty anticlimactic, much to our disappointment, but then we should have planned it better, ah well next time. Projects are mounting up, but first we need to finish the mountain of never ending wood 🙈
