Good luck with the build but just remember to keep an eye on how much weight your putting into the build just remember it's a 3.5tonne van maximum

Lovely looking van, perfect for conversion. With it being the L4H3 Heavy when you get your wheels your wheel bolt PCD will most likely be 130 (light ones are 118. Will be watching to see your progress, all the best 👍

I mean... if u get a puncture my first call would be to use a tyre plug before changing the tyre then take it to a garage..... if the plug leaks... I've had a motorcycle tyre from new with a plug in it 42psi really high speeds ran it all the way to the cords and the plug stayed. Now I know a vans heavier but regardless it get you out the shit or breakdown cover... good luck with the build tho just seems like a hasty move ;')

Oooooh I'm really looking forward to following your progress on this build. I've seen a few Citroën ones and they're great. Good find too! The van looks spotless. Could you have left the wood attached to the roof sides to fix the wall panels to?

They are great vans for converting! It is a very clean van mate yeah! No unfortunately it all was damaged and broke away when removing, however I managed to keep a lot of wood from my old van to use 👍

That’s a shame, you just needed the correct weight rated tyres, the supplier should have replaced them. Personally I prefer rear wheel drive over front wheel drive and the Iveco’s are great on traction for that reason, Citroen’s not so much. Good luck with your build

The Iveco drove lovely can’t knock it, Only thing was suspension was hard I think most Iveco are! But happy with the new one! 👌👌

Hi ben think you made the right move. Just thinking about doing a build myself looking at a 35L3 Lwb you mentioned your one was capable of extra weight. Just had an insurance quote for £946 because its a second vehicle, don’t no if this is cheap. Any suggestions appreciated. Any way good luck with your channel think you will do well regards Neil

Hi Neil, I do to it’s a great van and already happy with progress! I insured mine through AA van insurance and was about the same price to be honest, might shop around when renewal is due , Ben

Great vLog. What makes it a heavy load Relay? Does it have up-rated suspension? I am thinking of a similar spec for my build but can't decide on the Boxer or Relay. I like the high roof in your van as I intend to raise the bed up to make a larger garage for bikes.

I’m not sure I think up rated leaf springs , it’s listed on logbook as extra heavy load, boxer and relay are pretty much same vans and the Ducato , all good vans, exactly why i chose this van as I can get bike underneath 👌

Haha I followed as wanted to see an Iveco build but hey ho 😂 I did notice you’d got a duel wheeler, do you think you’d have had better luck with a single wheel Iveco? Was it an XLWB or LWB daily you had and had issues with the parking?

Ah sorry to disappoint now 😅, my Iveco was a LWB dual wheel, was a bit of a beast! Wouldn’t of minded a smaller one but got Citreon at good price
