To be clear it wasn't the Dodgers who said they're considering a trade for Williams. It was Jim Bowden that propsed it. Williams will be a free agent after 2025 so the Brewers may try to trade him before the deadline if they're not in playoff contention. Edit: Tanner Scott is a free agent. Teoscar, Kiké, Treinen, Adames, Tanner Scott and Sasaki. That would be great 👍🏻🏆

Signing with SOTO will be a nightmare for the Dodgers. The big contract will indirectly affect the unhappy mentality of other players. After all, he is not Ohtani and has a huge commercial market behind him. The commercial benefits to the Dodgers are not as huge as Ohtani. What if SOTO is injured one day? It will be a big money-losing deal

I don't have a problem trading Lux if the price is right. I think we need a shortstop. If you're going trade Lux at least get someone we need. Regarding Soto I don't fell like we need him at this point, besides his price is too high, way to high.

The price/performance ratio of Teoscar is obviously better than Soto. Losing Teoscar will be the biggest loss for the Dodgers.

I hate the Soto shuffle. And we've shown we can beat Soto and don't need him. So no need for him. Getting rid of lux isn't a problem. I like him. But he isn't consistent. We should've kept seager. Lux has had only 1 consistent season last year he slumped hard in the beginning and didn't emerge until later. But he's a mystery box. I don't know if hes gonna get better. Or if he's peaked.

We We cant sit still we signed snell and thats a great signing but we do need 1 more good pitcher and even with teo we need one more good hitter that money could buy a relief pitcher and a hitter soto is good but hes not as good as ohtani and he cant pitch send hin to ny or Boston or the mets let them deal with his arrogance

If I were the GM - I would make these moves: 1. Sign Teoscar Hernandez 2. No Soto, instead sign Japanese pitcher Roki Sasadi who 23 yr. old. 3. Trade Lux, and Wrobleski for relief pitcher Devin Williams. 4. Somehow try to get short stop Willy Adams in a trade. 5. Say thank you to these former players: Buehler, Flaherty, Treinen, and Kelly. Goodbye.

Keep Treinen and all relievers with an era under 2. Keep Graterol as well. Treinen will be 37 but he's still very effective. Hudson retired, they're not re-signing Honeywell and may not sign Kelly so they need relievers. I'd do the trade for Williams but I doubt the Brewers will. Lux is signed and will probably be on the team. I kind of hope they keep Mookie in right for at least one more season, sign Adames and have him play short this season. Muncy and Taylor are free agents after next season. Adames could move to third and Mookie to shortstop.

the difference in stats between soto and teoscar is not worth the difference in money. dodgers could add buehler and adames plus plus plus. besides soto having the personality of a halfwit.

Lux is signed and they won't trade him unless they get a very good return. Soto would be a great addition but they need to spend money on other areas. They need relievers. Adames would be a great addition but someone that people aren't talking about is Santander who hit 44 homers last season. There's also Tyler O'Neill and Juricson Profar. First get Teoscar and Kiké too.
