And if you want to get even worse imagine the average 18 year old, and then remember that they are voting. Although oddly there are a lot more well informed and intelligent 18 year old's out there right now compared to when the last generation or two was 18. Sadly I think a lot of people establish their norms as a teenager and maybe early 20's, and then spend the next few decades basically focused on their work and/or starting a family and not really paying attention to whether they still agree with the opinion they established when they were younger. So it should be very worrying for Democrats that more of the younger generation is rejecting them than before, because sometime around their 50's or 60's these adults will become empty nesters or think about retiring and they will start paying more attention again.

Let's be honest here. Everyone has made up their minds and everyone knows who they will vote for. There are no such thing as swing voters anymore. If you think you're a swing voter you're just lying to yourself. Polls change for only one reason. The people that are polled. You can go anywhere and take multiple polls and the results will vary based upon who is polled. This 1000 people might got 53-47 for this candidate but by the luck of the draw the next 1000 will go 52-48 for the other candidate. It's how polls work. My mind has been made up for years now. Not that I love the guy I will vote for (I do not!!) but that I truly despise the other guy and all who follow and support him. It's that simple. The only question to ask yourself is were you better off 4 years ago or are you better off today? I know what my answer clearly is...
