In North America at least, people throw enough away that it is easy to be a maximalist and still be eco-friendly. You can even be fast fashioned both in clothing and decor yet be eco-friendly. Purchases of new items in a fast fashioned manner is a different thing for both the environment and the wallet. - Plenty of opportunity and content potentials.

Great! I think it will be fun to watch. 😊 We have refinished used furniture with good results for our daughters’ room. 😍 The pieces match our style now and look great. But we also have tons of furniture from Amazon and IKEA. 😅 I’m kind of interested in that Avocado mattress or wonder if there’s other sustainable options for beds. I also want to see how you pick out art.

Btw I don’t know if this matches your style, but a friend showed me a site where you can buy rugs and jewelry made by Navajo people and in doing so you help the elders. Next time I need a rug I will look to them - and they have great color and pattern options! I am always thinking about ways to support BIPOC with whatever I need to buy.
