You so very much speak to my spirit about the bullying business! I was bullied and it’s probably one of the worst things to experience as a child or as an adult. Thank you for your open honest conversations. They make me think and examine myself. I realize I’m not alone and I don’t have to be bullied because God is my defender!

Being bullied by peers is hard, but the worst is when you are bullied by your own family and there are no safe spaces for you. You learn to defend yourself verbally and physically, because you have to- if you want to survive. The hardest thing is my walk has been to stop defending myself, and let the Lord do it. I have had to relearn- in Christ, how to respond to the bullies. And the bullying doesn’t stop when you grow up, and the Lord had instructed me NOT to run. Stand and fight- but fight in the spirit; not in the flesh.
