Wow!!!! This video really shows how much we in the diaspora have missed out on when it comes to our weddings. As a Muslim living in America and as a married man of nearly 30 years, my wedding was of no comparison to the grandeur and spectacle of this wedding. I am in awe of these traditions and am inspired to do something like this for my 30th anniversary celebration. Thank you, Tatiana, for your videos and for allowing us a glimpse into life on the continent.

The scene of the ladies sitting around cooking were a great example of how amazing they are. And the brides dress was a must have. I wish we could purchase gowns like this. So pretty, always.

Its not a "Moslem wedding" its Ghanaian Tradition of the Muslims there. A Islamic Marriage is called Nikkah and you have witnesses and some of the Womans Male Relative as her Representer and Responsible for her. Everything other then that is just the Festival. Every Muslim Folk has different kind to celebrate but the Nikkah is all the same. Im pointing it out cause she asked how is a Muslim wedidng going.

I like the fact that Ghana Muslims are not fanatics like Nigeria northern Muslims. They recognize their tradition first despite being Muslims just like the yorubas Muslims in Nigeria. Love from naija
@wewenang5167
@wewenang5167 9 ай бұрын
northern Muslim you mean the Tuareg, Hausa and Fulani? Tuareg, Hausa and Fulani are nomadic war like people...their culture has always been like that since before they even became Muslims. It has nothing to do with being Muslim or Christians. Usually if you see any fanatic people Muslims or Christians they are fanatic because of their own original culture and not because of their religion. If they came from rough tough and nomadic and war like culture, when they became Muslim or Christians they will stay that way even though their religion not permitted them to do so. This happen all over the world not just in Africa. That is why even among the Arabs there are different kind of Muslims like desert Bedouin Arabs are more fanatic than the Hadarim Arabs who are city dwellers. Arabs in the north like the Levant have different culture compared to Arabs in the southern desert of Arabia.
