I probably wouldn't have discovered the bulleted/numbered list feature on my own. Thank you! It will come in extremely handy! I think that's my favorite one!

Glad it was helpful!

Yesterday opening a photo, it automatically detected the edge of the subject. Certainly I was going to remove the background, and this helped. But then, when I wanted to add a solid color for the background, it only makes the solid with the shape of the subject. Finally discovered that I worked the “old way” selecting all the background, then the solid, to achieve the desired result. I find this changes sort of annoying when I have to rush, maybe I’ll appreciate them later. It feels like everything is oriented to use the IA, and I know, its useful for many things, but sometimes it just ruins my usual workflow.

It’s ironic but out of all the new features I’m probably most excited about the bulleted and numbered lists. I can’t believe it took this long to get them added.

I could have used the bulleting and numbering feature so, so many times at work before I retired. Oh, well... better late than never, I suppose.

My favorite new tool is the bullet and number feature in type. Using a layer set at soft light and using a brush for dodging and burning to me is faster than the adjustment brush.

One point: when the gen fill boats came back, they were distorted lengthwise. I get a lot of Gen Fill items, even basic ones, distorted like that. Not sure why that happens.

When will get the Firefly txt editing options like we do online? Being able to generate text in say balloons and stuff is sooooo good. It needs to be in PS.
@photoshopcafe4 ай бұрын
Text to image has most of the firefly tools now. Check out the tut, I added a card for it
@alkrevit47554 ай бұрын
Collin, great how you go right to a great way to use a new tool. You mentioned at the end that the generation is now 2k rather than 1024 px. Won't that make dealing with generated pixelation easier to deal with?
@photoshopcafe4 ай бұрын
That’s only with text to image, not generative fill at this time

When do you think they will give us a tool to make it easier to add printers crop marks?

More likely that would be in PDF export

@@photoshopcafe Yes, the trick is knowing what's going on, as this could by any random thing causing this, and Adobe did not put that in any changelog.

I could not find the tow new tools and they were not over in extras!!! After reading on the internet there were no useful posts. I shut. down the computer and restarted. Nothing. Then I went thru the edit tool bar list one by one. Then I found them. They had no short cut ket attached and semi to get lost as a result. If anyone has the same problem I hope this helps

Is it just me but after updating to PS24 the vanishing point filter quit working. When you open the vanishing point window you can no longer paste rasterized into the space. Was this on purpose to push users like me to dimension?

Adobe drops new features as the same time than so many users (including so many pros) are dropping Adobe. Aren't you feeling concerned by what is happening?
@photoshopcafe4 ай бұрын
Are you asking if I’m concerned about lots of new features? No. It’s my job to tech them.
@gilbertguerin90804 ай бұрын
@@photoshopcafe No ;-). Aren't you worried about the questionable tactics or intentions Adobe has been employing lately, causing many professionals to be deeply concerned and abandon ship? It currently feels like a sinking vessel, with seasoned professionals seriously questioning what’s going on at Adobe. They also prefer not to have Adobe constantly looking over their shoulder, whether on private or professional documents. Tony and Chelsea Northrup, along with many others, have frequently made these concerns public. Time to move on for all of us?
@RoyBlackwell4 ай бұрын
@@gilbertguerin9080 I am not too concerned about this supposed 'questionable tactics.' Most of the 'headlines' surrounding this are simply clickbait articles. In my opinion, much to do about nothing.
@CBM644 ай бұрын
@@RoyBlackwellIt's pretty bad. Adobe can now basically do what they want with your work. If you refuse the new terms, you're locked out of their ecosystem. The broad license granted to Adobe allows them to use, reproduce, and modify user content (train their AI), which may lead to exploitation without compensation or recognition.
@iKeto_gal2 ай бұрын
@@gilbertguerin9080 I was wondering the same thing. But his channel has the company software name so I don't think he's going to talk about it. They probably sponsor his channel too.
