Economy is in a complete FREE-FALL right now. US Consumers are in $1.4 Trillion of Credit Card Debt.....up $400 Billion in the last six months! You can expect pinball to collapse along with the US Economy in Jan 2025 and it's going to be BRUTAL! You will see INFLATION come roaring back worse than it ever was.....we are seeing this right now in the PPI (Producer Price Index) up in the manufacturing part of the supply chain. It will hit consumers in 60 days. Combine this with the Dockworkers set to strike again Jan 15th 2025. Trump is not a Union Guy and the Dockworker Head is a NUT JOB! Going to be interesting to watch that battle! You are starting to see large corporations begin large layoffs....today Boeing the Jet Engine Manufacturer just began what they said would be the first of 17,000 job cuts in the next 6 months.....approximated 10% of their work force and you can see as this stuff happens it will have serious effects on consumer spending.....including pinball machines. I wouldn't be surprised if there is only 2 companies left after the dust settles.....and my best guess to that would be Sp00ky & Stern with all the other companies closing up by the end of 2025 due to brutal inflation and horrible economic conditions! Prices will drop in the Deflationary period but I don't see NIB prices coming down due to rising inflation. Consumers will start dumping as businesses crater.....and yes you will see pinball/arcades, barcades most likely close up shop also so you will see some firesale auctions to go along with the price collapse. It's going to be terrible for American consumers.........God Help us if the US Government turns back on the money printing machines because that will drive inflation even higher and that's the last thing we need!

Wow someone actually gets it! I have been saying a bubble is about to burst for the past 6-8 months. I predicted 2008 mortgage crisis (I went into all bonds in my 401K just before the economy tanked) and the recent inflation crisis. That will be peanuts in about 3-6 months!!! The Democrats really screwed it up with Green Deal and all the Ukraine support. Stocks have never been so overvalued since....yes 2008!

tons of people. we've sold Addams and IJ's for $25K several times this year [high ends of course]. to people who buy at $12K+ it's like you buying a new xbox or PS5 for us commoners. they hardly notice. And those people are needed to feed us lower class who have the skills to make them.

@ ah. Oh, you’re in the UK. I’ve seen new games here in the US drop by as much as $2k within a few months. I also only have ever bought used games thru Pinside and I’ve had good luck. On top of that I have an in depth check list I go thru before buying a pin. If all else fails I’m pretty good at repairs. I definitely do not envy the taxes you have to pay over there for an imported pin.

The prices are absurd thee days. When i bought my NIB Transformers LE combo it was 6700 euros. And that was a limited edition. I checked prices in euros for the new limited editions back here in The Netherlands: 12.500 to 15.000 euros. that is 13 to 16.000 dollars. I agree those prices quoted are really high. If Trump goes through with those tariffs he is proposing the economy will most likely go down due to higher inflation. So it makes sense to wait and see how much an expensive toy like a pinball game can drop in the future recession and if you can still afford it. Don’t forget there still will be future maintenance costs that most likely will be higher due to inflated parts cost and labor.
