Big Pine Speedline Removal- Husqvarna T525 test.

We were up at a cottage in Barry's Bay, Ontario to remove two Pine trees. The larger tree was right beside the cottage so we used the speedline to keep the branches from falling on the roof. Awesome view from the top of this one! Enjoy and Comment :)

I came here to see how the T525 performed for you but watching you climbing the tree had me cringing the whole time although I could not stop watching. lol. I prefer sawing from the ground myself.

Nicely done. From your video, we can tell that little saw doesn't have the power of your typical climbing saw, but I'm sure the weight and mobility factors swing the balance. It's getting hard to find the Echo 2511 these days. This one seems pretty close, from a brand that has been in the game for longer. How is your friend's saw holding up?

Been thinking of getting one of those huskys top handle saws , how is it going for you? Seems plenty of power for a small saw

It would be a great buy for sure. It's my friend's saw and I was just trying it out for the day. It's light, super easy to handle and plenty of power for the size. It has a semi-fixed ring on the back of the saw that sticks out so you can clip the saw back onto a carabiner on your belt with one hand. It's a super nice feature that the Stihl saws don't have. All around a great little machine!

@@WoolysWorld from what I hear the 25 cc Echo is also a good performing machine and the lightest on the market. would be great for all your light removal and pruning needs. Not to make your decision any harder but I like talking saws :)

Hello sir. What is the blue rope for? and how you tied it almost at the top. Forgive me but he is a young lumberjack.

The blue rope is my primary climbing line. It allows me to move through the tree without relying on my feet and lanyard to support me the whole time. It makes working in a tree for a long time much more comfortable

@@MikeHermo Thanks for your reply! To attach the blue rope to the top of the tree you have to climb with your feet and the rope in the middle of the body, right?
