Big Pine to French Creek Backpacking Trip

Once a year we try and do a 2-3 day backpacking trip in the Black Hills National Forest. This is the 2nd annual trip for me and it's Dana's 1st trip. The year 2020 I had backpacked from Pactola Reservoir to Deerfield Reservoir (32 Miles) by myself. This year (2021), Dana decided she wanted to go with. She picked the route and we set off!
We won't be making it out this year (2022). Summer has been busy and the summer weather has gotten away from us.
