Infra, for the public-housing-ish medium density area you could put old low height buildings (row housing) on the bottom, and newly built commercial and/or office or residential on top. Like a newly built extension of the old existing buildings.

Dear Infrastructurist, This is a heartfelt request and it's concerning the University development. Instead of building one single campus, can you make it like campuses within a campus? The historic building could be the municipal building from when the city was very young. As the city grew and those offices moved to larger more modern buildings, the Old City Hall could be repurposed as an historic landmark and museum about the history of Riverview.

I feel like the most unrealistic thing about this city is the grid. It’s very inconsistent whereas every NA city has a consistent historical grid with every block having virtually the same dimensions.
@TheJorsy3 ай бұрын
Well, if you look at the eastern coast, there are cities like Boston, Providence or Trenton that don't have a super-griddy downton.
@jumpywizard76653 ай бұрын
@@TheJorsyyes but this build is supposed to be based in Colorado. Also, outside of Boston’s north end and downtown, it’s a grid. Providence also has a grid, the blocks are just bigger and feature alleyways. Trenton also has a grid, or whatever’s left of it since it was mostly destroyed by the US-1, NJ-29/129, the Lincoln hwy, the huge government offices/parking lots by the Delaware and CURE arena. You can kinda see the remnants of it east of Lincoln hwy.

I use a pathway to attach to another city. Basically taxis roll in, I have subway and train stations as they walk in. Takes them to populated areas or bus stations. Getting 48,000 an hour. Highway connects to industrial and commercial. I’m at 417,000 pop and only two spots get traffic jams so far. Industrial areas I make exits to city at build ends every 5 blocks. Keeps traffic flowing out.

great work like always man love the series. would love to see you make a huge quarry in the mountains somewhere. lets go rural! with a small town connected by the quary, like a mining city. Imagine the possibilities with the new assets. a massive quarry spiraling down, with construction equipment, structures, and facilities. A small town connected to it, a rural area up in the moutains for residences. Maybe even some cabins in really dense forest area. lets go rural! Also, would love to see a massive walkable pier/massive shoreline kinda like you see in Toronto. thrhoghout the downtown area, the shoreline is just sloping downwards. would be crazy if you do a massive revamp of the cities shorelines, and just impliment walkable pathes, peirs, small shops, etc.

It would probably be pretty tough to implement, but at some point I’d love to see colossal order take on BRT, biking, and street median tram stops. The streets right now tend to look a bit monotonous from above because there’s only really one kind of alternate lane (bus) and literally nothing you can do that fundamentally changes the appearance of the street the way BRT or other street median station transit does.

When it comes to assets, one thing that CO should be looking at is a healthy set of service assets that are small, but can easily be blended together, as the player likes, to create unique buildings. It'd kind of help if they integrated Anarchy into the game for that

You seem to never read my comments, but I'll say it anyways. You should add a small elementary school for every 3 districts and a small high school for every 6 districts, given the density of RMA.
