This is my favorite line to watch and "window shop". Been into astronomy and physics since I was a young teen and I love the look of the set but i'll never to be able to afford the cards I'd want or complete a set lol.

I bought a box on my lunch break. Pulled a 7/10 solar flare auto of Michael Harris II as well as a Stella nova Mike trout, and 2 planetary pursuit cards. One shota imanaga earth and one Aaron judge sun. I want another box lol. This set is awesome IMO.

I'm not convinced that the base cards are as good as last years, but the colored parallel and nucleus refractors are pretty incredible. Maybe the filled border compared to the lack there of the base make them look even better.

Last year the only cosmic chrome box I opened had an acuna refractor auto, and a jordan walker orange rookie auto to 25, and a jrod sun planetary pursuit all in a single box! Can't wait to get to my box soon!

I've always liked Cosmic Chrome. Love the planetary pursuits, but the fact he got 2 autos and several other great cards in this box was kind of crazy. I heard autos fall about 1 in 4 boxes. I haven't looked at the checklist, but I wonder if Nolan Ryan has a card in that one pitching insert set. He's the only player I really collect.

You also have to consider, steel city probably only got 1 or 2 cases. So they have to consider their profit window (demand) and supply. A month from now, they could be stale and priced at near cost.

It’s cool if there are a few high end products that are there for the adult collectors. But the grand scheme should still be to attract young collectors otherwise there isn’t any future to the hobby in the first place.
