I've found Into The Fire be the best 3 mana 2 damage sweeper spell. Being able to reliably find your Bombardments or Big Scores can be key, and chucking away everything that isn't useful. It might only be a sorcery, but it is always useful when triggered or drawn.

Here's a suggestion, and something I've been having a blast with. The combo of the new blue synthesizer artifact with skitterbeam. The latter puts out three 3+ mana creatures and really explodes some big dudes on the board. Lots of good blue/red artifacts at 3+ mana to fill it out. Bitter reunion or some other haste effect makes for an explosive turn. super fun.

Return the favor is my favorite card for Arcane Bombardment deck now. I generally cast to copy Arcane Bombardment trigger ability, but few days ago I faced Temur Landfall then copy opponent's Worldsoul's Rage and change the target to their face. That's totally satisfy coz I really hate this deck haha

Flick a Coin probably makes you think of a giant because it's pretty much an homage to Needle Drop from Lorwyn. Btw, you were staring down way more than 9 damage from Calamity and Terror: 1) Calamity gets saddled by terror 2) Calamity attacks (4 damage) 3) 2 copies of Terror are created, they're both seen by the other 2 Terrors. (5 damage times 2, twice, for 20 damage.) 4) The 2 Terror tokens are attacking, another 10 damage. So yeah that wasn't 9 damage at 17:35, it would've been 34 damage.

Yeah, I would've 100% used Return the Favor to redirect and copy the damage at Calamity.

For some reason this deck makes me wonder how it will work with "Chimil, the Inner Sun". I should experiment.

Another suggestion: Multicolor Bombardment, with 4 copies of Widespread Thieving to ramp and cheat Bombardment into play. And then lots of two-colored spells of your choice: Ill-timed explosion, lightning helix, assassin's trophy, slick sequence, make your own luck, no more lies, faithful mending, the charms, flotsam/jetsam, whatever you like. It's been fun for me!

Haven't tried it yet, but Return the Favor can copy the entire Bombardment trigger itself (even though it can't trigger Bombardment), which can go kinda nuts. Could be a fun buildaround?

Have you tried the 3 mana steal a creature, which can be instant if you've committed a crime, great way to steal an attacker and block another attacker with it. How did you find those Bandit Hoards? I'm running 4 in my RW Bombardment now, think that's the best version of it, i'm probably 65% win rate with it.

The hoards were fine for me but not amazing. I would make one a Celestus next time. Cornucopia has been nice when I'm in green as well. Will have to look at that stealing spell, that sounds excellent!

Treasure map instead of the Haul artifact card. Gives you Scry, Treasure, and card draw. Demand Answers while it doesnt have plot which is nice on those dead draw situations would play will with the treasure tokens also. I run them in my arcane deck. Motherload makes the artifact card draw from treasures really go BRRR There is also a battle that does some of what brotherhood does it deals 3 damage to creatures and plainswalkers but when it flips it makes a 4/4 with ward and every time the arcane triggers it deals 2 additional damage per spell on the stack and any spell you cast.

I really wish the commander sets were standard legal, look at this one from outlaws commander Volcanic Torrent {4}{R} Sorcery Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.) Volcanic Torrent deals X damage to each creature and planeswalker your opponents control, where X is the number of spells you’ve cast this turn.

Re: discard making your own graveyard worse, I've been adding collect evidence and shuffle back effects to my Bombardment decks so I can curate what Bombardment hits. In Jeskai especially, when I want to hit a sweeper like Sunfall or a counterspell
