🇯🇲🇯🇲 Love the multicolored blocks of Chef Clare’s parents house. I’m particularly impressed with the well-manicured lawn, interspersed with the well thought out placement of plants and trees. It’s quite evident the owners have very refined taste in esthetic and the patience to manifest them. NASTO, NASTO, NASTO it’s time you give your compound a name instead of just referring to it as your home. I love the thought of you always thinking of improving the family portfolio by constructing some edifices marking your milestones on these KZbin streets. However, sorry to dampen your thoughts Nasto but why the URGENCY of building your dream home so soon when the priority should be to buy or build entities to improve on your income apart from your KZbin revenue? The money that will be used to build your dream-house will be many times the cost of your present house because of the size and the present cost of materials and at the finish the house will generate no income but instead consume much needed maintenance expenses. Make sure to multiply/invest what you now have than trying to rely on what you believe you will be receiving. Its self-evident you think the support you got for the already built house will be forthcoming for the second..... Marwa has spent Kshmillions on his home yet continue to spend Kshmillions on needed repairs and maintenance……let’s be smart…

Wow, Chef Clare house is amazing. I enjoy seeing a house like this, it's so beautiful. I want to see this house finished. Instead of moving that wall, make the doorway alot bigger, or widen the door. I like the big widows. Nasto, I also like the idea of the movie room. I notice that Marwa, Mayungo, and Chef Clare do not have rails on their steps. I think rails would be very benefits if you have little ones like Liam. He could just stumble and fall down to the bottom floor. It's a safety precaution for me. I enjoyed this fabulous tour.

The orange trees need fertilizer and they get yellow when they need iron and also orange trees are not supposed to be pruned that way. The trunk is not supposed to be exposed to the sun so orange trees don’t really need pruning. Just let them grow. Let the limbs fall to the sides as long as it doesn’t touch the ground.

It's a good idea to have a big ranch style (Single Story) house will be best or a 2 Story House must have an additional master bedroom for a disabled person and a bedroom for the caregiver on the first floor. That increases the number of bedrooms.

If you have a two-story home it is nice to also have a large master bedroom downstairs. As your age you’ll be glad you have the master bedroom and bath downstairs, but it’s also a plus if you have someone come and visit or stay for a while who cannot climb stairs or their health just does not allow it. So it serves a twofold purpose. If you decide to keep the master bedroom upstairs you can always …if you have the money have lift or a chairlift that is hooked onto the side of the wall of the staircase that takes you up and down the stairs as you sit.

Nasto, they don't have to remove the wall between the dining and living room. They can cut a big window in the middle of the wall so that they can see through . This is better than removing the whole wall.

A cloakroom is a guest toilet in the in the UK. Sometimes in old large Victorian houses there’s a small vestibule before you enter the toilet where you can hang coats or the cost room/cloak room was next door to the men visitors toilets hence the term cloakroom. In the USA it’s often referred to as the powder room as women would go and fix there makeup either before and maybe after dinner. I designed my floor plan myself, but it’s very big 😱. Not sure if I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. Hopefully not. 🤞🏾🙏🏾

Nasto Cloak room here in Kenya means a common toilet normally used by guests at the lounge. It normally only has a water closet (wc) and no bath or shower.

Hi Nasto, Cloak rooms are not necessary with your type of weather… no snow or extremely cold weather. A 1-storey or Ranch style house is more practical especially if you are thinking long term & old age. Besides, you can have 10-12 feet high ceilings for nice chandeliers, making your home more elegant and modern. In the USA we use Gypsum to divide each room making the cost less. No need for blocks and concrete to divide each room…too costly and hard work to modify.

Nasto I do follow you.A one story house is okay as young as you are .As you grow old it becomes difficult to go through the stairs. I like the plan you have shown. Instead of 3 bedrooms with shower why don't you do a tub and shower for the main bedroom and have the 2 other bedroom sharing a bathroom and make the 2 bedrooms bigger . When you have plenty of water Miss Fle can have a soak in her bath tub (she works hard )

4 bedroom is nice…. just in case you decide down the road to have one more child there will be three bedrooms then for the family and an extra room for your guest room for visitors. Since you like to plan ahead. Then have a separate home office or media room where you can do your editing and KZbin stuff. Since you’re dreaming dream just a bit bigger and you can have that home as your goal… And it sounds like it’s not too far off in your future. What will you do with the house you’re currently living in?

Do you recall your conversation with Marwa in one of his visits to your home? He told you that you could even do a house around your present house. This person is right. Nasto in Jamaica we do not build another house on the same compound we add to it and make it bigger in that way you can change the roof. A lot of Jamaicans buy or build a small house and later add to the same structure. In America also it’s one home on the same compound. Give some thought to what Maura says . You can use the same plan you are showing and build we call it addition.

Not all houses are the same . ..some open plan concepts don't work for certain houses.... Like that one. It has all the space for each room to express itself ...could even have multiple living rooms. Some open plan living and dining is to make a room appear bigger ( where space is an issue )... But this house has no space issue....so open plan doesn't make so much sense
