I used to work for Timmy O Brien from 2006 to 2014 driving in his Agri Contracting business. I remember in June/July 2014 a lorry came into the yard with 3 boxes, a front Samasz mower, a back samasz mower and a rake. We built the mowers and stuck them on a tractor. They cleaned and shaved the ground compared to the other mowers he had. He had two makes of rakes. Boys did they cause us hardship. One morning 6 of us picked up the pallet the rake was in and built. Timmy came down from the house and saw it on a tractor and looked at us and we said it’s going to be used today. From that day on we never had to spend evenings and nights try to repair the other rake and hope it would stay going for the following day. Have to say the Samasz never gave trouble and followed the ground better the other make in the yard

If you get used to raking with the 2 rotors lifting at once you’d never bother with the hassle of lifting one then the other..you get into the swing of how to drop the rake in it saves huge time

We got the same samaz but with mechanic extending width it has 3 positions for it. And also for the rotor wheels we got them the other way around where all the greas niples are all pointing up not twoards the ground

I'm not sure if you are referring to the triangle at the rear of the rake, but that is actually a combination tail light. It's quite a cool design in my opinion as it just looks like a triangle.
