Hello my beloved viewers! Today, I'm ripping and reviewing the brand new 2023-24 NBA Hoops Premium Stock Mega boxes. These are the Walmart version. They actually shocked me. Doesn't happen often. Enjoy!

Premium stock has actually opened a part of me because when I was a kid nba hoops was my favorite because I could afford it to be honest,and I remember when me an my brother had about 5 retail boxes about 24 packs per box because we were going to set up at a card show,but we really didn't sell much so we decided to rip everything we had,then in the end we both got redemption cards for the rookie class an we sent our redemption and we got em on the same day as if we rich😂.....that day was one hell of a memory and that rookie class was solid

I've ripped 1 Target, 2 Walmart and 4 Sam's boxes. The QC on these cards is horrible. About half the cards from each box have been so off center, they're pretty much worthless.

Yea, the centering is terrible. I haven't found many gradable cards out of premium.

Nice hits! I know sometimes the Target versions have lowered numbered cards. Like with select they had /75 compared to /99. Don't know if that is the case here though.

It actually is and I totally spaced while editing to add it at the end. I believe the target prizm #'d start at 199 or 149. Lower than the Walmart. Otherwise the numbering is the same. Thanks for keeping my honest 😉🤣

I honestly haven't lived into the Sams Club boxes but I've only heard good things. If 3 #'d per box is the average than those are probably way better than the Megas or blasters.

First off great review! It's too bad these cards won't be well received down the road because I find them to be nice cards and a fun rip! I feel the Mega boxes are a much more fun rip than the blasters. I agree about the numbers when it comes to the Walmart vs Target but the Target Megas I've seen opened have been very nice myself included. The first one I opened had 2 #'d cards a Wemby prizm and an auto (recency biases and small sample size aside) and I saw another person rip a similar box as well. Maybe give them a spin lol. Love the longer comments. It wouldn't be the first time the Target version was better than the Walmart. See 2023 Donsruss Football Megas. I have seen Walmart boxes with 2 #'d cards as well. It seems you get anywhere from 0-2 per box. Probably averages out to 1 per. And I do like Hoops. The hobby absolutely does not. Might be simply a saturation problem. Too many sets.

@@huxbux Great idea/explanation on the over saturation! I always thought it was the mental part of it being Hoops but what you said make sense. Also about Target Megas vs Walmart Megas this rip (small sample size) reminded me of the Select Basketball Megas from this year where the Target Megas far outpaced the Walmart version. Yea, select, too. I forgot about those. I'm sure there's a stigma with Hoops that follows it bc of the paper product. No doubt though that the sheer amount of sets dilutes the pool. I can only imagine 10-15 years down the road half of these products will be an after thought for collectors.

Bronny did not score 47 points in his first g league game. He's been in 2 games and averaging 5 ppg. Even if he had 0 points in one, he'd be averaging 23.5 ppg if he scored 47 in the first game. He score 6 points in his first game. Or was that some sort of a joke that I didn't understand?
