I’m sure it be different based on what state you in but where I live, my girl was the victim of some shit that took place at the house. She knew the dude and a later date I was picking her up from a location that had same dude in the spot she was. While I was waiting in the car he supposedly shit someone who later died. He was eventually caught with authentic but stolen police badges, firearms and equipment from 5 or 6 counties away, but this time he was already wanted for the supposed murder. Without making a statement and with me declining to corporate at the first scene, I was still subpoenaed to take the stand at court. I said fuck them and didn’t go. I would never take the stand but in top of that, He was their suspect in said murder and was caught with shit he had stolen from police so I felt like what the fuck they need me for??? I’m not a cop they are they need to do they fuckin job.. I got lucky and case was dropped before ever making it to court.
