Can you feel the weight of the sea urchin by using your hand so you can feel if it's full or empty? Seems you harvest them not casually

Umm nah I just use my hand for the size off them leave the little ones.....Nd I'd open one down their see how fat each beds are too...Nd yeah bro Ive pull 10000s out.....💯💯ND give it away for free too 🙌💯💯

2 sea urchins will full a punnet at the markets so I'd say 2 or 3 kinas would be atleast 30$.....lucky I give mine away for free 🙏🙏

I've been a scuba diver for over 20 years. One of the first things I was taught is DON'T TOUCH! I'm not referring to you harvesting sea urchins but the fish have a protective coating that is damaged when you touch them and yanking on the lobster like that is cruel and irresponsible! It is clear you are only harvesting for sale and completely ignored an unhealthy infestation that can destroy that area in a short time, I will not be watching or supporting your channel.

@@bush2beach647 lol you are right lol. It is not a lobster but I couldn't remember what the name is. It is in the same family as a lobster. I used lobster because most would know what I am referring to no matter where they live.

@bush2beach647 Wow sw**ring and calling n*mes on social media. Sorry but I truly cannot understand most of what y o u are trying to text because it is so fragmented. I have been a licensed scuba diver since 1995. Sea urchins only become classified as pests when 1) they are not indigenous to that location and 2) the balance of the marine life has been dam.....aged and they do not have enough predators keeping their numbers in check. If humans do not intervene and clean out a large portion of an infestation, like the one seen in your video, all the marine life will e killed off leaving nothing but a dead reef. Have more respect for the ocean and marine life. You depend on it so treat it as it deserves please!
