I respect Musk’s right to support whoever he wants, but context is important. Tesla and his other ventures benefited greatly from government subsidies, so it’s hard not to see some irony in his stance. I think it’s a bit disingenuous and the PPP they are clearly articulating in the rhetoric only infuriates me more because they both know how uninformed we are as an electorate body. Ingvar Kamprad - the founder of IKEA - started by wanting to get cheaper labor than minimum wages in Sweden required so he started producing furniture in Poland but then the shipping became expensive so we got the flat packs. When he became ultra rich he got the people around him to paint the picture of the frugal Kamprad who always flew coach and wanted to cut costs for you meanwhile he off-shored his company so that he could keep more of the profits. To this day many Swedes still idolize him. (He didn't involve himself much in politics, so he was way less destructive than Elon, but far from a saint)

Maybe you should focus less on getting more tax dollars and focus more on why our government needs so much money and what do they plan on doing with the billions they already collect each year. If our government was a company they would go bankrupt every calender day of the year....yet they have a customer who always pays ( us taxpayer) no matter if they do good or bad they will get paid and continue to go further in debt.
