most of the ships travel usually in fairly narrow trade/shipping naval corridors - so they are not that far off from each other - meaning its fairly often for them to travel along the same paths - and this can lead to accidents if one side is dicking around /not paying attention. The first one in the vid looks like an deliberate ramming and not an accident. The last one was also deliberate as it was going full spead ahead - most likely it was to be scrapped on the shore anyway.

It wasn't actually a crash. It was a deliberate beaching. It's India and they (illegally?) dismantle big ships on the shoreline in that area using poorly paid labourers. There are several people a year killed in the area as a result of falls from heights etc. during the chaotic dismantling of these big vessels. Seems the authorities just turn a blind eye to it but the polution of the local waters and shoreline is horrendous.

That ship that goes vertical isn't sinking. They are even cheering.

@ to get stable like hell and unaffected by waves and storms, like oil rigs, do research and float around without care for weather

4:00 this is actually a research vessel that is supposed to go vertical to test how a vertical ship would work in the ocean so don’t listen to everything you see or hear on the internet

Oh thanks bro, I hadn't realised from all the clapping and cheering that it wasn't a crash

I find it interesting how really large things seem to crash and fall in slow motion. I guess it's all relative.

That one ship was named “Excellent” oh the irony
@weathersmything48193 жыл бұрын
At 3:55 this ship is not actually sinking because this ship is made to do what it is doing the front of the ship is filling with water but it is regulated and if you go into the ship while it’s not filled with water everything is on the walls (even the toilets)
@lennartvenhuizen20384 жыл бұрын
That ship that 'goes under' didn't collide at all and wasn't even damaged. If I'm right she is a naval research vessel which dives under.

If you see a ship crashing into other ships like at the end of the video, that’s a ship graveyard where they take ships to be torn apart for recycling
