In Spamton's words, "GET ME IN THAT [Funky Disco] BODY AND I'LL LEND YOU THAT [Smooth Taste] OF [[DEATH]] AT [Half Price!]" Doomguy didn't account for who Spamton meant would die. Spamton's battle would be EXTREMELY hard, with you needing to cut the strings exclusively with the crucible, having to damage Spamton to get more charges to actually do so. All the while, all hell is breaking loose (pun intended), Spamton's crazed attacks flying around, but instead of silly little things, "pipis" are flesh mounds of demons, "Kromer" bones torn out from demons (also how you'd pay for upgrades), and he's still spouting his crazed speech as he knocks you around, forcing you to either dodge every attack precisely, or cut the Pipis in half with your chainsaw for health and ammo (which is very hard seeing as they're bouncing around) Ultimately, you really can't brute force Spamton. (Things like the BFG and such are simply absorbed and deflected) In the end, Spamton assumes you're trying to free him. In the end, you can shotgun him and kill him, or you can cut the last string, getting you the Dealmaker upgrade, which makes all of Spamton's upgrades functional, and you gain his KromerKannon, which fires Kromer, and Pipis as it's secondary.
