When I listen to most remixes for the song, I look for intense sections that might push you through the fight more than items. The kind of stuff that might start playing if it had the kind of music system of the new doom games, where it intensifies when you do good. I think this is the first one I've found to do it for _basically the entire song._ That's platinum standard.

I know this is a late comment, but I do kinda see the Your Best Nightmare in this. The way it starts so barebones, _just_ the main melody, no bass, no beat, before suddenly kicking in. Your Best Nightmare is definitely more chaotic, with more focus on the rhythms than the tuning. This doesn't feature the leitmotifs as much as the other two examples, so it doesn't fit in as well in comparison. If you're comparing the methods behind them, though, and the way the rhythms match up, you can definitely hear it.
